We can only deal with the powers of darkness when we are deep inside the protection of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was once known as the anointed cherub, but now Christ is the Anointed One. Satan planting those doubts and thoughts of inability or impossibility have got to GO!! When we put on the whole armour which God has provided, we are able to STAND. When I am weary from the battle and tired from standing firm, help me to put my trust in You. There's a lot of talk these days about spiritual battle. Satan is a defeated foe before Jesus Christ of Nazareth, but Satan is still beyond any human being. And your power over Satan comes from knowing that he's a defeated foe. Help me to find my strength and hope not in my ability to withstand, but in the promise that Satan is already a defeated foe. Last time I checked, Satan is a defeated foe! The devil is a defeated foe and while we are not to be ignorant of his devices, we are not to give him one moment of our time.
